Mechanical integration

The Origin One robot features a set of mechanical integration options for the user to attach custom hardware to the robot. The robot features three payload mounting rails that are based on T-slot 2020 extrusion profiles.

  • Front interface
  • Side interface (identical on both sides)
  • Rear interface
  • Top interface
    • Including 2x 2020 V-slot profile payload rails
  • Bottom interface

Info

To prevent damage to the robot and the mechanical interfaces, ensure that the instructions of the mechanical interfaces are securely followed. Do not overtighten screws as the brass inserts risk loosening.

Payload rails

A standard Origin One is delivered with a set of payload mounting rails on top of the robot. It features a set of three 20x20 mm V-slot aluminum profiles. This can be used for mounting several small/large attachments. Ensure that you do not exceed the maximum payload capacity of the robot.
