Robot overview

The Origin One is a modular robotic platform that integrates multiple sensors, actuators, and communication systems. The illustration below highlights the physical locations of these components. Note that 3D LiDAR and RTK-GNSS modules are optional sensor extensions. Your specific Origin One will have one of the two configuration:

• Origin One Robotics Platform suitable for manual operations and low-level robotic developments.
• Autonomous Origin One, which extends the Robotics Platform with the autonomous capabilities of the Autopilot Inference and the mission planning capabilities of Cerebra Studio.

Warning

Since the robot only detects obstacles that are higher than the floor it is driving on, it will NOT stop for sudden floor drops such as cliffs or manholes. Therefore, ensure that the robot's path is free of any floor-level hazards or vertical drops.

Warning

Since the robot uses LiDAR to detect obstacles and LiDAR cannot detect transparent surfaces like glass, the Origin One may not avoid glass walls or other glass obstacles. Ensure that such surfaces are protected to prevent accidental damage.
